Restoring Rhythm
A gentle, supported way to learn how to rest - in real life
Are you a women in midlife who is tired of rushing, holding it all together, and putting yourself last?
Restoring Rhythm is a 6-week small group program for midlife women who want to slow down and learn how to rest in a way that fits into real life. If you are craving more, calm but don’t want another thing to add to your already full life, Restoring Rhythm was created for you.
What makes Restoring Rhythm different
Many wellbeing courses ask you to do more — more practice, more discipline, more commitment.
Restoring Rhythm begins from a different place - It recognises that for many women in midlife:
-
Time feels scarce
-
Energy is precious
-
Guilt often creeps in when we try to prioritise ourselves
This course meets you exactly where you are. There is no pressure to keep up, no expectation to practise every day, and nothing to “get right”.
Instead, you are gently guided to explore how rest can become part of your daily life — whether you have five minutes or twenty‑five.
What you’ll experience over 6 weeks
Each week we gather for gentle movement, breathwork, short meditations, and deep rest — supported by a steady group of women walking the same path.
Each session includes:
-
Gentle, accessible movement to arrive in the body
-
Breathwork to support your nervous system
-
Short guided meditation (around 10–15 minutes)
-
Deep rest practices, often lying down
-
Time for reflection and optional sharing within the group
Between sessions, you’ll be offered:
-
One short optional audio or video
-
One gentle suggestion to explore in daily life
These are invitations, not tasks. You will never be asked to catch up or feel behind.
What Restoring Rhythm supports you to cultivate
Over the six weeks, many women notice:
-
A steadier, calmer nervous system
-
Greater ease in the body and breath
-
A kinder relationship with rest
-
Less guilt around taking time for themselves
-
Simple ways to pause and reset during the day
-
A renewed sense of balance and perspective
Perhaps most importantly, you’ll experience the quiet strength of women supporting women — sharing honestly, learning from one another, and discovering that you are not alone in how you feel.
Who this program is for
Restoring Rhythm is for midlife women who:
-
Feel busy, stretched, or constantly ‘on’
-
Want to slow down but don’t know how
-
Are curious about meditation but don’t want long periods of sitting
-
Are drawn to gentle movement and rest
-
Value connection, warmth, and shared experience
This program is not about pushing through or striving for change. It is about learning how to rest — together.
A note from Annie
I created Restoring Rhythm from lived experience — my own, and that of the many women I work with.
I know how challenging it can feel to make space for yourself when life is full, responsibilities are many, and habits of rushing run deep.
My role is not to fix or change you, but to gently guide, support, and hold a space where rest feels possible again.
You will be met with warmth, respect, and understanding — exactly as you are.
